Mr. Rau is a Principal Engineer and founder of Paragon Consulting Group, Inc. He has over 30 years of environmental engineering, water-resources engineering and geohydrology experience.
Mr. Rau began his career as a water-resources engineer for a national engineering firm in Denver. He then served as a project manager for a local environmental and water-resources engineering firm before starting the environmental engineering practice for Terracon serving the Rocky Mountain Region. He founded Paragon Consulting Group, Inc. in 1997 and was quickly joined by other long-time associates.
Mr. Rau is a registered professional engineer in seven states and is a Nevada Certified Environmental Manager. He is often called on to serve as an expert witness for water-rights cases as well as civil litigation relating to environmental contamination, remediation of releases of regulated substances, regulatory compliance, and geohydrology.
Mr. Rau has over 25 years of experience supporting private equity clients during the due-diligence process as well as implementing post-closing plans. He very much enjoys working closely with clients to creatively and cost-effectively solve their environmental and water-resource challenges.
